Alexander McQueen
2020 - 2021A photography based project in collaboration with Alexander McQueen and youth in South Wales Valleys.
Inspired by Alexander Mcqueen's Autumn winter 2020 collection, we worked alongside the Alexander McQueen team delivering creative workshops that taught young people an array of exciting new skills – from casting, clothing customization, photography, illustration, creative writing and embroidery with the aim of exposing the young people to job roles that exist within a major fashion brand. As well as giving them an opportunity to
model the collections.
The result is a cross art form combining photographs made by us and the young people presented in a book. The book also includes the young people's casting, illustrations, creative writing and embroidery pieces that they made in the workshops.
